Velocity Systems Armored Thigh Rig is offered with either 33A Dyneema Soft Armor or 06 Aramid Soft Armor. Both soft armor inserts are NIJ Level III-A Armor. The Armored Thigh Rig, NIJ III-A is a drop leg thigh rig with a side accessed internal pocket for a soft armor thigh insert. There is MOLLE webbing on front face and a large 2.5" Quick Release buckle that can be easily released while wearing gloves. There is also an open interior pouch for quick stashing or access to magazines or other equipment. The interior of the rig is an adjustable mesh panel with 3 adjustment straps secured by hook and loop. Thigh Rigs can be worn on both legs to provide both thighs with soft armor coverage. Velocity Systems Armored Thigh Rig, works with a variety of vest including the Low-Profile Armor Carrier (LPAC), Low-Profile Assault Armor Carrier (LPAAC), Operator's Assault Vest (OAV) and the STOP Vest™. Colors: Black, Coyote Brown, MultiCam, Ranger Green & Wolf Grey. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.
