The SC7 setup is comprised of the front panel of the SCARAB™ LE, the back panel of the SCARAB™ LT, the SCARAB™ LT/LE Cummerbund and Quarter Flaps. The SC7 is made of 500 Denier Cordura with a mesh interior lining for increased breathability and features the Velocity System patented swivel shoulder straps (US Patent No. 9,894,962). The swivel shoulder straps were designed to alleviate common fit issues with traditional fixed angle shoulder straps. The narrow ULTRAcomp™ shoulder straps articulate on a D-ring allowing them to sit correctly and comfortably on any user regardless of neck thickness or shoulder broadness. The ULTRAcomp™ Shoulder Straps are adjustable for length and have a padded sleeve, that can also be used for cable routing.
Four sizes are available for the SC7; S, M, L and XL. The SCARAB™ LT/LE is sized to hold SAPI plates of corresponding sizes to the carrier. The front and rear plate pockets have adjustable internal plate suspension straps and a Velcro® Brand fastener on a flap closer to secure the plates. The SCARAB™ LT/LE Cummerbund options all have Velcro® Brand One-Wrap® fingers that slide inside the button holes on the rear of the SCARAB™ carrier and affix to the interior wall of the plate pocket. 1” of Multi-Layer Elastic is built into each cummerbund finger to give some stretch. Each finger can independently be let in or out of the plate bag to accommodate different body figures, and they can be angled for correct armor placement. All hook and loop material used is color matching Velcro® Brand Fasteners. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.
The bottom of the SCARAB™ LE front panel has three rows of loop MOLLE webbing and an integrated flat kangaroo pouch sized to hold our Double HK417, Double 7.62, and Triple 5.56 Magazine Insert. The chest has an admin pouch with two external rows of MOLLE webbing and Velocity Systems SwiftClip® Attachment System for rapid don/doff of auxiliary chest worn equipment (i.e. Chest Rigs & SwiftClip® Placards).
The SCARAB™ LT back panel features six rows of MOLLE webbing and color matching Velcro® Brand Loop on the top for Identification. The back panel of the SCARAB™ LT is outlined in a zipper to accept Zip-On Back Panels.
This setup includes the SCARAB™ LT/LE Cummerbund which provides a lightweight and breathable design, with MOLLE webbing on the exterior and interior and Quarter Flaps. The Quarter Flaps house both soft or hard armor and allow the end user to dawn/doff from that single point without having to lift the front flap.
